Coach: Paul Duerden

Although his coaching resume is quite short, Paul Duerden brings a wealth of volleyball experience to the Forest City Club. A graduate of Oakridge Highschool, Paul joined the National Volleyball Team in 1993. He represented our country for 15 years, playing in over 330 international matches, 4 World Championships, 3 World Cups and 3 Pan-Am Games. Paul also had a very successful professional career, winning 4 European Cups and numerous league titles over his 14 seasons abroad. He has played in leagues in Germany, Belgium, France, Italy and even Turkey.

Paul has had the chance to work with some of the best coaches in the world, including Canadian National Team coaches Brian Watson, Clement Lemieux, Garth Pischke, Stellio Derocco and Glenn Hoag. He hopes to pass on as much knowledge as he can to his players, drawn from his 17 years playing at the highest level.
