Welcome to the Forest City Volleyball Club Registration page and congratulations on your successful tryout with the club for the 2008-2009 season.

Registration Materials:

All registration materials including a general information newsletter, the FCVC athlete information form, the FCVC Parent Volunteer Information Form, the FCVC Treasurer's form, the OVA registration form, and the Parent Code of Conduct are available under Registration Forms. Successful athletes will be responsible for completing, printing and bringing ALL of these forms to the Team Registration Night on October 29th.

FCVC Superstore:

On registration evening, athletes will have the opportunity to purchase optional FCVC clothing and bags, all at reduced prices. More information about these items is posted in this section under Volleyball Equipment. Orders can be placed until December 1, 2008.

Uniforms:

Included in your registration fee is an upgraded uniform shirt, shorts and warm-up t-shirt. Please note that if a uniform shirt is lost during the season it will be the responsibility of the player to replace it at a cost of $50.

Volunteer Opportunities:

The success of FCVC relies on the support and participation of parent volunteers. Available positions are outlined in the Responsibilities and Expectations newsletter. These positions include a Team Parent Manager, Social Representative and a Net Income Group representative.

FCVC NET Income Group:

This group, composed of representatives from each team, is responsible for all fundraising activities within the club including the FCVC Raffle. The NET Income Group will support teams with instructions and ideas for fundraising projects.

Registration Fees:

Fees for the 2008-2009 season are $625. This fee can be paid in full on registration night or in three instalments payable as follows: $220 on October 29, 2008, $220 on November 15, 2008 and $200 on December 15, 2008. A $15 administrative fee will be charged when paying the fee through the instalment plan. The FCVC registration fee covers registration with the OVA, a full uniform, tournament fees and the cost of practice facilities. In addition to the registration fees, all athletes must purchase 30 raffle tickets at $5 each. It is hoped that players will recoup the cost of these tickets by selling them in the community. Players must bring a cheque for $150 for the raffle tickets on Team Registration Night.

Registration Process:

Please read all material posted on the website.

Athletes must complete and print all registration forms and bring them to registration night. A parent or guardian must accompany the athlete to registration and sign all forms as necessary. Uniforms will be sized and ordered that evening and athletes will also have the opportunity to visit the FCVC Superstore.
